Unveiled just a few weeks ago, the new Nissan Sentra is about to arrive at dealerships, and we now know its pricing range for Canada.
The adventure begins at $27,887 for the Japanese manufacturer’s small sedan, including freight and PDI, making it officially the most affordable model in Nissan’s entire lineup.
A Complete Lineup
Unsurprisingly, the S version remains the most accessible at $27,887. It’s followed by the SV and SV Premium trims, starting at $29,887 and $30,987 respectively. Finally, the SR and SR Premium versions sit at the top of the range, priced at $32,287 and $34,617.
A Major Update
Even though the Sentra was already modern and attractive, the manufacturer decided to give it a near-complete redesign for 2026. The Japanese brand’s new compact sedan now sports a more elegant silhouette than ever, with a highly sophisticated front end inspired by Nissan’s latest design signature. The front features a massive grille and slim, elongated daytime running lights. As always, the Sentra offers stylish paint colors and boldly designed wheels. In my opinion, the 2026 Sentra stands among the most beautiful cars in its category.
The improvements don’t stop there—the cabin has also been completely reworked. The Sentra now features a digital dashboard setup with two 12.3-inch displays, one for the instrument cluster and one for the multimedia system. The rest of the dashboard design, along with the overall interior layout, blends seamlessly with the technology. I’d even say the Sentra’s interior gives the impression of sitting in a large luxury sedan rather than a simple mainstream compact car.
Mechanically, there are no major changes for the 2026 Nissan Sentra—and that’s a good thing, as the compact sedan’s powertrain already does its job well. It’s powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine producing 149 horsepower and 146 lb-ft of torque, paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission.
Finally, although its price has climbed slightly compared to last year, the Nissan Sentra remains one of the most appealing small sedans on the market.
